A dermatologist is the medical expert you should consult if you have any significant problem with your skin. Dermatology is the science that is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and other diseases of the skin, hair and nails.  Some dermatologists specailise in cosmetic surgery, lasers and Mohs surgery.  

A dermatologist has a minimum of 13 years of training. At KM Surgical we have two fully trained specialist dermatologists who have extensive training on the diagnosis of skin cancer, performing full skin checks of moles and lesions.  We also specalise in medical dermatology including the management of eczema in all age groups.  However due to capacity we are no longer able to accept new patients for medical dermatology.

KM Surgical have purpose built theatres with (HEPA) filtration and onsite pathology facilities for micrographic surgery (Mohs).  All our skin surgery is performed in our theatres and we meet day stay surgical standards. KM Surgical gives recognition to the importance of a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
